Coming of Age Birthday Cards
It is a tradition at Case Western Reserve that each undergraduate who turns 21 receives a birthday greeting from the University President and the Vice President for Student Affairs. In addition to a birthday greeting and a reminder to celebrate safely, students also receive a $25 gift certificate to the Michelson & Morley restaurant in the Tinkham Veale University Center.
The Class Officer Collective and the University Office of Student Affairs are soliciting photos for the 2016-2017 Coming of Age Birthday Cards. Photos should reflect seasonal images of places and events at Case Western Reserve University. Special consideration will be given to photos that illustrate one or more of the following criteria:
- diversity of our campus culture
- something iconic about our university (such as a major campus event)
- a significant place
- something that represents the student experience at Case Western Reserve University
All qualifying photos must be taken on the CWRU campus and/or at the University Farm. Participants also are encouraged to submit an inspirational quote relevant to their photo submission.
