IT Operations Group

The IT Operations Group supports the technology needs of the Division of Student Affairs, Division of Campus Services and Executive IT Support. A team of full-time staff members and part-time student employees handle the day-to-day maintenance of computer equipment and electronic services for division employees. The support group also maintains the following public lab, computer areas, and campus services:

  • WEPA Program
  • Campus Information Displays
  • Multicultural Affairs Student Lounge
  • Electronic Learning Center
  • Residential Commons Kiosks
  • Accenture Career Research Library
  • TRIO Programs Lab
  • Blackboard Transact

SUMMER INFORMATION SYSTEMS ASSISTANT

The Summer Information Systems Assistant position provides an educational environment for a motivated student to develop and utilize relevant skills in computing to support the information systems goals of the supported divisions and its departments and programs. The exact duties will be determined on an ongoing basis by the Assistant Director. Staff needs, current projects and priorities will be considered when determining ongoing assignments. Assistants are expected to develop new skills during employment.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS ASSISTANT

Web Content Assistant

The Web Content Assistant position provides an opportunity to develop relevant skills in web content design, creation and editing while supporting the web and marketing goals of departments in the Division of Student Affairs. Projects will be determined on an ongoing basis by the IT Operations Group staff based on experience and current needs. The Web Content Assistant will be expected to develop new skills during employment.
