Experiential Learning at CWRU

Experiential Learning (EL) is defined at Case Western Reserve University as an innovative approach to education that emphasizes hands-on experience. This includes experiences such as internships, practicum, co-ops, research, volunteering and studying abroad. The Career Center coordinates and supports two primary experiential learning programs: internships and practicum.

Be sure you know what type of experiential learning opportunity will best suit you and your schedule. Keep in mind that EL opportunities should expose you to a field of interest. If you are unsure of which EL opportunity is right for you contact our office, 216.368.4446, to schedule an appointment with a career counselor to discuss your EL search.
