MLK Intergenerational Service event

Date: Friday, January 18, 2013
Time: 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Location: Thwing 1914 Lounge

CCEL is collaborating with Boulevard Elementary School to bring second-grade students to campus to reflect on the life and service of Martin Luther King. CWRU student volunteers are needed to work with the elementary children in small groups on a collage and writing activity about Martin Luther King's life. Volunteers should feel comfortable working with children, but detailed instructions about the activity will be provided. At the end of the activity, students will decorate cookies and give them to nonprofit organizations attending the Community Service Fair. This event will take place on Friday, January 18 in the 1914 Lounge from 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Register online to volunteer!
