FLORA, FAUNA, FARM, FOOD, and FUN

Come down to the beautiful CWRU-owned Valley Ridge Farm. Visit the Silo Theater to learn about the Farm's academic, research, and educational endeavors at the as you stroll around the Food Program's gardens. During your visit check out our products and learn about our beekeeping, hydroponics, and mushroom programs. Sign up for onsite continuing education classes, In the Country, such as Poetry and Nature, Nature Walks, Bird Watching, Beekeeping, Growing Your Own Food, and Outdoor Painting. Walk along the historic Wade Grape Arbor and learn about the ecology research on "plant competition" by Dr. Jean Burns at the Farm's research gardens. Bring the family for this relaxing evening in natural surroundings. There will be educational activities for the kids such as checking the bluebird houses and art projects with nature: rock painting, leaf coasters and more. No admission fee required.
