Student Affairs Assessment
Assessments are the tools we use to improve the experiences of our students, staff, and community. These tools help us understand the strengths and weaknesses of programs, services, policies, processes, websites and facilities. We then use this information to set goals and chart a path for moving forward.
Assessments have been conducted at CWRU for quite some time. Initially, the associate vice president for Student Affairs (2003) and the director of the Career Center (2006) accepted the responsibility of coordinating assessments across the division. In 2014, the first full-time director of Student Affairs Assessment was appointed. The person appointed transitioned directly from the CWRU Office of Institutional Research where she had played a significant role in providing assessment support for student services and programs. This new role allows her to focus more of her time on these activities.
