Cable service is also available in select locations in some academic and administrative buildings. Requirements

In order to receive cable television services, you must have a television (or other device) which supports a digital QAM tuner. Although digital tuners have been required in televisions since 2007, not all televisions included the QAM tuner which is used for digital cable reception. Many new devices now include the appropriate tuner, but you should check the specifications from your manufacturer to be sure.
