As a Case Western Reserve University student, you have access to a variety of spaces for programming, studying, meeting or just spending time with friends. It is important to us that you find places on campus that make CWRU feel like home.

Thwing Center

For many years, Thwing Center has been a central gathering place for students, faculty, and staff at CWRU. From the Jolly Scholar to the new technology enhanced classrooms, there is never a boring moment in Thwing!

Activities Spaces

Student activities spaces are located in the both the north and south residential areas of Case Western Reserve University. These common areas serve the needs of students: dining, entertainment, study space and residential life.

Popular Spaces

Learn about some of our students' favorite places on campus! These open spaces don't require a reservation, but you might want to get there early for the best seats.

Commuter Lounge

Just for commuter students! The CWRU Commuter Lounge, located on the foundation level of Thwing Center West, offers commuters a place to socialize and study.

Athletic Facilities

The Physical Education and Athletics department runs several facilities in the Veale Center and around campus that are available for special event rental.

Rooms Across Campus

In addition to the student affairs spaces, there are plenty of other areas, including classrooms, available for special events, conferences or meeting. Explore all of the options and find out how to reserve them!

Spartan Reservation System

Reserve a room, browse facility details to ensure that a space meets your needs, and review possible configurations. Submitting an event or meeting request through own online reservation system is easy!

Tinkham Veale University Center

In addition to housing several Student Affairs departments, the new Tinkham Veale University Center is also a great place to plan a meeting or conference. Six restaurants run by Bon Appetit provide a perfect way to grab a quick bite to eat or cater your group's next event.
