Community Space, Campus Life
For many years, Thwing Center has been a gathering place for students, faculty and staff at Case Western Reserve University. From madrigal dinners and social teas, to dances, political rallies and socialite weddings, those who know the rich history of Thwing recall the days when the building also served as the Western Reserve College Library and gentlemen's club.
Still considered a gathering place for a diverse selection of cultural, social and recreational activities, Thwing Center features some of the most visible groups on campus, including Undergraduate Student Government, University Program Board, Media Board and The Observer. It's also a popular place to grab a bite, buy a stamp, meet with a study group, attend a Career Fair and much more.
