Case for Community Day

Case for Community Day invites all members of Case Western Reserve to volunteer for the day and connect with our Greater Cleveland community. The event, sponsored by the Center for Community Partnerships, offers participants a variety of activities, including community improvement projects, fun with co-workers, a luncheon and an end-of-day celebration.

Farm Harvest Festival

Celebrate the beginning of fall with our annual Farm Harvest Festival at Squire Valleevue Farm! Guests will have an opportunity to see what our Farm Food Program has produced for Bon App├ętit, CSA and Farmer Markets.

Graduate Student Appreciation Week

The Office of Student Activities & Leadership is coordinating this years Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week which recognizes graduate and professional students' intellectual, teaching and cultural contributions to the Case Western Reserve University community with Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week.

Greek Week

Each spring, the Office of Greek Life sponsors a week of competitive, philanthropic, and social events called "Greek Week." Coordinated and planned by undergraduate student leaders, it is a time to celebrate being Greek and show chapter pride with the entire CWRU fraternal community. Events include Coin Wars, Pyramid, Banner competition, Obstacle Course, Variety Show, and Rope Pull.

Homecoming

Homecoming is an opportunity for current students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members to interact and participate in activities designed to celebrate Spartan spirit and CWRU pride.

Hudson Relays

In 1882, Western Reserve University moved 26 miles from Hudson, Ohio, to the University Circle area. Case Western Reserve University annually commemorates this event with Hudson Relays, a 26-mile relay race around the current campus. The event orginally began in 1910, starting in Hudson, Ohio, and ending at the rock in front of Adelbert Hall.

Late Night Breakfast

If you love breakfast food at night, head on down to Leutner or Fribley commons before finals! Load up on piles of candy or try to win some giveaways. There might be some ice cream to go with your scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, and hash browns. Stop by and get your fill, then head back to the line for seconds.

Relay for Life

Relay For Life is the flagship event of the American Cancer Society. An 15-hour overnight event, Relay For Life celebrates the lives of survivors who have won the battle against cancer, remembers those we've lost to cancer and helps fight back in the hope that one day we will find a cure.

Social Justice Teach-in

The Social Justice Teach-In is designed to inspire students and community members to be active and engaged citizens, to increase their understanding of social justice issues, and to enhance their leadership skills in areas such as service, advocacy, and philanthropy.

Springfest

Springfest, which occurs the last Saturday of the spring semester, is a student-planned event that celebrates CWRU and fosters campus unity. The tradition continues each year with inflatable attractions, novelty games, student organization booths, and great food. Throughout the day you will hear local bands and a national headliner that entertains hundreds of CWRU students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends.

Thwing Study Over

One of our most popular events on campus, the Thwing Study Over offers students a chance to break away from all the books, papers and last-minute assignments. Held in both the fall and spring semesters just before finals week, students converge on Thwing Center for free food, massages, entertainment, giveaways, and group study sessions.

Unity Banquet

The annual Unity Banquet & Scholarship Dinner celebrates the academic accomplishments of underrepresented students and graduating seniors at Case Western Reserve University. The evening also serves as an opportunity to recognize future students and Case community partners.
