Case for Community Day invites all members of Case Western Reserve to volunteer for the day and connect with our Greater Cleveland community. The event, sponsored by the Center for Community Partnerships, offers participants a variety of activities, including community improvement projects, fun with co-workers, a luncheon and an end-of-day celebration.

Each spring, the Office of Greek Life sponsors a week of competitive, philanthropic, and social events called "Greek Week." Coordinated and planned by undergraduate student leaders, it is a time to celebrate being Greek and show chapter pride with the entire CWRU fraternal community. Events include Coin Wars, Pyramid, Banner competition, Obstacle Course, Variety Show, and Rope Pull.

In 1882, Western Reserve University moved 26 miles from Hudson, Ohio, to the University Circle area. Case Western Reserve University annually commemorates this event with Hudson Relays, a 26-mile relay race around the current campus. The event orginally began in 1910, starting in Hudson, Ohio, and ending at the rock in front of Adelbert Hall.

Relay For Life is the flagship event of the American Cancer Society. An 15-hour overnight event, Relay For Life celebrates the lives of survivors who have won the battle against cancer, remembers those we've lost to cancer and helps fight back in the hope that one day we will find a cure.
The Social Justice Teach-In is designed to inspire students and community members to be active and engaged citizens, to increase their understanding of social justice issues, and to enhance their leadership skills in areas such as service, advocacy, and philanthropy.
Springfest, which occurs the last Saturday of the spring semester, is a student-planned event that celebrates CWRU and fosters campus unity. The tradition continues each year with inflatable attractions, novelty games, student organization booths, and great food. Throughout the day you will hear local bands and a national headliner that entertains hundreds of CWRU students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends.
One of our most popular events on campus, the Thwing Study Over offers students a chance to break away from all the books, papers and last-minute assignments. Held in both the fall and spring semesters just before finals week, students converge on Thwing Center for free food, massages, entertainment, giveaways, and group study sessions.
The annual Unity Banquet & Scholarship Dinner celebrates the academic accomplishments of underrepresented students and graduating seniors at Case Western Reserve University. The evening also serves as an opportunity to recognize future students and Case community partners.
