Cleveland Museum of Natural History

Leaf fossil

From dinosaurs and exotic cultures, to rare diamonds and distant planets, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History provides an exciting environment for everyone to explore the universe.

The museum features a planetarium, observatory, discovery center and live animal shows. A wildlife center and woods garden highlights native Ohio flora and fauna, including bobcats, river otters and birds of prey. Behind the scenes, curators work in 11 natural science disciplines. Traveling exhibitions, lecture series and public programs are offered frequently. Outside the museum, the Natural Areas Program protects more than 3,500 acres of rare habitat in Northern Ohio.
