Empowerment and Support Group for Women Affected by Trauma
Trauma can come in many forms and can happen at any point in one’s life. At times, traumatic events that have happened a long time ago can resurface and cause problems currently. Trauma can leave survivors feeling confused, isolated, and overwhelmed. This group provides a safe space to discuss the impact of trauma on your life, to learn new ways of enhancing resiliency and coping, and to increase your sense of empowerment. This group meets on the 2nd floor of the University Health Services clinic; it is co-sponsored with UH&CS in partnership with the Women’s Center.
