Assessment Options

In addition to counseling services, Case provides a variety of self-assessment options for students who need help resolving their difficulties or solving issues related to personal growth. Self-assessment can help students learn more about themselves and determine whether they need further evaluation from a counselor or therapist.

Mental Health Self-Assessment

Anonymous mental health assessment is available through Screening for Mental Health, Inc. (SMH), which provides confidential screening for alcohol abuse, depression, manic-depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and other health-related issues.

Cognitive Assessment

Comprehensive cognitive assessments are offered to enrolled students. Click here to learn more about cognitive assessment.

Learning Styles Assessment

The Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (LASSI) is also a useful self-assessment tool to better understand a student's learning practices, attitudes toward college, learning styles, and differences. You will be required to log in with your Case network ID and password to access LASSI.
