Graduate Student Positions

We employ graduate students enrolled full or part-time in a graduate program at Case Western Reserve University or neighboring institutions. The Graduate Intern, under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Student Engagement, will assist with executing a comprehensive marketing strategy, with a strong emphasis on graphic design and the creation of marketing materials that showcase the resources of the Office and highlight the outstanding student leaders that compose student life at CWRU. This position will strengthen student advising, strategic marketing, administrative, budget, program development/implementation and facilitation skills.


The Graduate Assistant for Leadership reports to the Associate Director for Leadership to create a comprehensive leadership development program series that remains responsive to the current needs of the Case Western Reserve University undergraduate and graduate student population.


Under the direction of the Coordinator for Assessment and Operations , the graduate assistant for operations actively assists with the coordination of events by training, scheduling and meeting weekly the undergraduate student assistants to ensure that groups have a smooth and successful experience in the program centers. Manage the ordering and inventory of the Sparta Center, a service provided by the SA&L office which offers programmatic resources to all undergraduate and graduate student organizations. Additionally, this individual will be given direct connection to the undergraduate student population through the co-advisement of the Thwing Study Over committee and the annual Homecoming parade.


The Graduate Assistant for Programs reports to the Assistant Director for Programs and will work with the Assistant Director to project manage several events during Homecoming including the Homecoming Royalty process, coordinate the Spartan Mascot Program, assist in the development of training sessions using the StrengthsQuest® assessment and co-advise the University Program Board.


The Graduate Assistant for Graduate Student Engagement is chiefly responsible for assisting in the development of the graduate student community, conducting assessment of services and programs sponsored by SA&L and develop programs to enhance the graduate student experience. Assist the Associate Director in the support of the Graduate Student Council. Creativity, innovative thinking and the ability to work with a team is required.
