SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES LIST

When nonprofits have volunteer needs, CCEL lists them in our weekly E-newsletter and posts them in the Org Sync Service Opportunities list. This instructional video provides information on accessing Org Sync and using the Service Opportunities list (minutes 0:00 to 3:13). Written instructions are also included below:

  1. Access Org Sync by going to experience.case.edu and using your CWRU net ID (abc123) and password to log in.
  2. Click on the "Service Opportunities" heading to see a full list of opportunities
  3. Some opportunities such as CCEL Serves and Saturday of Service are coordinated directly by the Center for Civic Engagement & Learning (CCEL). Click on "See Full Details" to read all of the information, and then click on the green "Yes, Register Now" to sign up. Transportation is provided for CCEL programs.
  4. To get involved with opportunities not directly coordinated by CCEL, click on the opportunity of interest and "See Full Details" to read more. Follow the directions outlined in the details to contact the organization directly. For non CCEL program, you do not have to register via Org Sync.
Community Partner Database

CCEL maintains a searchable Community Partner Database through Org Sync, which has information about over 100 different local nonprofit organizations. This instructional video has information on using the database (starting at minute 3:13 in the video). Tips for using the database are also included below.Org Sync image
