Flora and Fauna

The University Farm has a large diversity of plants and animals that can be observed while visiting the property. During the summer of 2005, Jake Kribel, a student in the Department of Biology, designed several introductory guides.

These introductory guides provide baseline information that is helpful to those who want to learn more about the plants and animals found at the farm. These guides include physical descriptions of the organisms, seasonal changes, habitats and location. Species that are not native to this area are identified in the guides as either introduced or non-native.
