I utilize the Greenie when traveling around campus rather than driving.

Greenies are shuttles operated by University Circle. They are currently blue, not green as the name implies. There are two greenie routes, a North Loop and a South loop. The north loop runs between the North Residential Village and the South Residential Village, the driveway outside Fribley Commons being the southern terminus. The south loop runs between Fribley and Coventry, and also stops at the Carlton Road residence halls. For more information, check out the Busing & Shuttle page on the Case website.

I utilize public transportation when traveling around Cleveland and the surrounding areas.

Public transportation provides a variety of benefits. Not only does it save fuel, but it also reduces congestions, saves money, reduces gasoline consumption, and reduces your carbon footprint.

If I have a car, I avoid idling my engine.

Did you know that idling can release as much pollution as a moving car? For that reason, make sure that you avoid idling your car. Turn off your ignition if you're waiting for more than ten seconds and instead of waiting for your engine to warm up, drive it while it warms up. Not only will this help the environment but it will also save money and fuel.
