Planning the Search

Before you post the position in HCM and begin receiving applications, make sure you're familiar with the important information in the resources on the right. It's also a good time to start coordinating with collaborators and planning how you'll publicize the position once it's posted.

Collaborating with Others

Think about who else will be involved with the search. Will you be forming a search committee? Which individuals or groups should participate in interviews? Who will need access to applications in HCM? It may be helpful to share this page with them so they can also review important fair hiring and unconscious bias information, and make use of other talent search resources.

Advertising the Position

How will you advertise the position in order to attract an outstanding diverse candidate pool? We've compiled a partial list of external job posting websites that may be helpful. You may also be able to submit the position on relevant professional listservs or organizations, or send it to people in your professional network who can pass the word along.
