New Employee Orientation

It has taken a lot of time and energy to find a new talent to work in your department, in the division, and at the university. Let's work together to let them know how great we are, how valued they are, and what a wonderful place Case Western Reserve University is to work.

The first day on the job - is spent in Human Resources Orientation. Here is a list of information the orientation covers. What the University provides before Employment Begins:
Recruiter will send to the new employee: Welcome Letter,Offer Letter, Benelect Guide, Benelect Rates
Wellness Program, Job Description, Campus Map and an I9 Form

New Employee will be asked to attend an Orientation:
They will receive instructions as to where to park, and where to report
They will be given breakfast and lunch usually it runs from
8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • ID card            - go down to Access Service and get their ID
  • Parking – in Access Services they have the option to sign up for parking

First week on the job checklist - I have put together a comprehensive list of items that need to be addressed within the First Week of Orientation - I am sure your department has your own way to welcome a new employee. I am hoping by having our division follow the same checklist we will not miss essential processes that will allow your new talent to begin their work as soon as possible. Please complete the checklist and send a copy to your HRA.
