Surveys

From Wikipedia: Statistical surveys are used to collect quantitative information about items in a population. Surveys of human populations and institutions are common in political polling and government, health, social science and marketing research. A survey may focus on opinions or factual information depending on its purpose, and many surveys involve administering questions to individuals.

The "closest resource" doctrine applies in establishing an online survey:

1. Student Affairs Resources

Online forms and questionnaires not related to assessment will be hosted on the student affairs site.

2. University Resources

Not required or permitted.

Although there are several survey systems offered by different departments on campus, none of these is centrally managed, and we are unable to guarantee the security of their data.

3. Partner Resources

Student Voice is a divisional partner for assessment activities. Any online inquiry that can be deemed an assessment of a department, program, or event should be handled through Student Voice. Contact the assessment committee for additional information.

4. Other Resources

Not required or permitted.
