Submit Documents via Electronic Mail

With wēpa, you can now submit a document for printing via email!

Submitting a Job
  1. Open your favorite email client, web mail site, or CWRU webmail.
    • Members of the CWRU community must send from the abc123@case.edu address to link to their wēpa account.
    • Guests with wēpa accounts should send from the address linked to their account.
    • All other addresses will print as a guest.
  2. Create a new message addressed to print@wepanow.com.
  3. Attach one or more documents that you wish to submit for printing.
  4. By default, documents will be submitted for black and white, single-sided printing.
    • To submit the document for color printing, type COLOR in the first line of the body of the message.
    • To submit the document for duplex printing, type DUPLEX in the first line of the body of the message.
    • All attached documents will be submitted with the same settings.
    • To submit documents with different settings, use separate email messages.
  5. Send the message.
  6. After your document is processed (this may take a short time), you will receive an email confirmation with a release code.
Supported File Types
  • Microsoft Word (.doc and .docx)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt and .pptx)
  • Microsoft Excel (.xls and .xlsx)
  • Adobe PDF Format (.pdf)
  • Rich Text Format (.rtf)

There is a 50MB size limit on the total size of all sent files. CWRU webmail imposes a limit of 25MB for the documents being submitted in a single message. Other mail services may have more restrictive size limitations.
