Western Reserve Historical Society
and Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum

Founded in 1867, the Western Reserve Historical Society is one of the largest privately supported nonprofit regional historical societies in the nation. WRHS preserves and uses its collections, historic sites and museums to inspire people to explore the history and culture of Northeast Ohio and place that regional experience within the larger context of state, national and global history.

In addition to the world-class genealogy library, the complex includes the turn-of-the-century Hay-MnKinney Mansion and the Chisholm Halle Costume Wing, which features rotating exhibitions year-round. The Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum features approximately 200 antique, vintage and classic automobiles and aircraft.
