Hepatitis A

Hepatitis A is transmitted by fecal contamination of food or water, through anal or oral contact, and rarely through blood. Hepatitis A can be with or without symptoms. There is no treatment for hepatitis A but a vaccine is available.

Symptoms
  • Fever
  • Tiredness
  • Lack of appetite
  • Nausea
  • Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and the white of the eyes)

  • Anyone traveling to high-risk countries
